It was a Saturday morning, it wasn’t even a homeschool day but look what my kids are doing. Tricia is teaching Lyle his maths. Lyle is still in Kindergarten and he still doesn’t have Maths in his curriculum but I bought for him a math activity book just to get him started. And since it’s not really part of the ‘curriculum’ , I let them have the freedom to work on it. Oh, who wouldn’t allow their kids to do maths on a Saturday? LOL!
I guess these are the ‘typical’ things homeschool kids do. For them learning is not something they ‘have’ to do, but it has just become part of them. So, whether it’s a homeschool day or not, they would still strive to learn something. Anyways, I’m happy to have a new recruit for a homeschool teacher. She’s actually quite patient teaching her brother who gets whiny when he can’t get the answer right. But I think she’s too patient and lenient to the point of answering the questions for him. LOL! Yes, she still has a lot of training to undergo but she has a good start.
