For a month my son was able to enjoy using the ABC Mouse program as a part of his homeschool curriculum. I actually took advantage of the 1 month free trial. My son’s ‘play’ at ABC Mouse serves as a supplement from what I teach him during the day. So, I don’t direct him which activities he must do in the site but I let him play freely. He’s actually very excited with the site because he gets tickets everytime he finishes an activity and with these tickets he can ‘buy’ something. That’s really a great motivation for the kids.
But since our free subscription has passed, I didn’t bother to renew it too since it’s quite expensive for me as a supplement for his learning. But just recently, I got another offer from them! I only have to pay 1$ for a month of subscription ( instead of 7$ plus). I’m taking advantage of this offer again. So, that means free play for another month for my boy. It’s good so while my son plays educational games at ABC Mouse, I can concentrate in doing history lessons with my daughter in the afternoon. I think I just need to look at akg headphones , and see if I can get for him a set of headphones so my daughter and I won’t be distracted during our lessons.
