Earlier, we were so convinced to send our daughter to a local Thai school ( half day) as a supplement for her homeschool, but it seems we’re having second thoughts now.

Aside from the fact that she comes as a special student, meaning she won’t get any certifications or any documents from the school to ‘ prove’ that she’s a student there, it does seem that the staff in the school are not so ‘welcoming’ as before. Maybe they see our ‘special case’ as a nuisance and a disturbance to their normal routine. Anyways, I noticed the change when I went to the school the other day to get the registration forms and the staff were’n't so friendly.

I felt bad after the visit because it was like we were ‘forcing’ them to do what they don’t want to do. Actually, one of the staff refused to take our daughter as a student the first time my Hubby went there. She said that the Thai government requires all students to study full time ( whole day). But after Hubby talked to the principal and explained to him our reasons for sending our daughter to Thai school, he agreed to take her but with some limitations in terms of documents and stuff.

So, now were not so happy to send her in the school anymore. We’re looking for other options for her to learn Thai and other supplement classes like Art school or swimming class. Praying that God will direct us in our decisions.
